This poster implements the essence of a clean-up drive. It serves as a powerful reminder that while the problem of waste is big, our individual selves and collective actions can lead to a cleaner, healthier world.

Reflection of the First Quarter

 A. What are the learning/discoveries that I have gained? In the first quarter, I learned a lot in managing my time due to a lot of homework, projects, and extracurriculars was tough because i was part of the students who had a mindset of "due to tomorrow, do tomorrow" but I discovered that using a planner and setting specific times for each task really helped or doing the given work after just gave it to you can really be helpful too. I also realized how important it is to ask questions in class. It's not about looking smart; it's about understanding the material. My teachers were really helpful when I asked for clarification on things I didn't get. Moreover, i discovered that unlike in the past school years, written works was not the key to getting honors but performances, specifically: recitation, participation, behavior etc.   B. What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered? One of the biggest problems was procrastination. I kept putting off big a...

Nutrition Month Experience

MY NUTRITION MONTH EXPERIENCE  My experience during Nutrition Month was special. It was both educational and inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on my understanding of food and wellness. The school's activities were well-planned, and engaging. Each of the food stalls, it was such a one of a kind experience since I got to taste different kinds of foods from different grade levels. My favorite was the chicken pastel. Apart from that, I also participated in a poster-making contest. But, due to the sudden request to join in the poster making by Sir Renante, I did not able to get properly prepared leading to my lose. Moreover, I supported my friends in the Nutri-jingle event since it was regional, and they needed all the support they needed. Fortunately, they won a trophy.     My experience during Nutrition Month has changed my perspective on food. It is no longer just about satisfying hunger but about nourishing my body and mind. The knowledge I gained has motivated me to...

Letter for the President

Image
Dear Mr. President, I hope this letter finds you well as I write this letter not to complain for negative message but to address certain issues. Specifically, the nation now faces the perennial and devastating threat of flooding. This issue is not only merely a natural phenomenon, it is a MAJOR impediment/problem as our country's progress and a source of economic distress. Our past leaders have been lax, hesitant, and conservative on this issue. I have once again highlighted the inadequacy of our present flood control measures and the urgent need for a more comprehensive and proactive approach.   The concerns I wish to address are multi-faceted and require your decisive leadership now. We must have a broad, forward-looking vision and sufficient funds as we start control systems including dams, protective barriers, and storage reservoirs. The flooding problem is no longer offensive. Second, widespread deforestation and environmental degradation. Some officials have been cleari...
